When Control Is Taken Away

Control is a tricky concept. On one hand, we strive to control many aspects of our lives and on the other hand we recognize the parts of life we cannot control.

When that control is taken away though because of the venomous and cruel actions of others, our light goes out quickly.

Finding that light again can be a lifelong battle for many of us who have been the victims of immense traumas, a reality in our world that has become far too prevalent.

This is a story of finding that light in the darkest of situations…
